Makki
Makki was born in 2004 when the Taffeta Silk Collection was launched. Following the success of the Silk designs, Makki introduced the Eel Skin range & in 2007 the Electric Collection, made with the finest grade of Eel Skin, was created. The striking palette of 13 colours ranges from the brights, the Hot Pink, Teal & Electric Blue to the subtler tones of Antique White, Camel & Hot Chocolate, ensuring there is a colour for every mood. Most of the collection is designed in house, in the UK by Joanne, the founder of Makki. They are very committed to their Eco Policy & the ethical way in which they work & trade is of the utmost importance to their brand. A combination of the sumptuous Eel Skin leather, the striking palette of colours & the on trend designs achieved Makki the accolade of Fashion Product of 2009.
